Milltown National School Choir in Co Cavan were recently crowned one of 10 winners nationally in a competition run by SPAR.
As a result of being among the winning groups, the school received a fantastic cash prize of €1,000.
Following on from their recent success, the choir has now entered the Peace Proms competition this year, an event which will be held in the SSE Arena Belfast later this month.
The talented choir is the brain child of school teacher Niamh Kelly, who first set it up last year.
Speaking to Northern Sound, the Killeshandra native highlighted her "pride" for the students involved, adding that the choir has only gone from strength to strength since its foundation:
