A local social campaigner says democracy in the United States has reached a new low after Donald Trump falsely claimed victory and suggested vote counting should stop.
Millions of ballots are still being counted and Cootehill native Ruairi McKiernan says the United States is not in a healthy place.
A majority of Biden supporters expressed a preference for mail-in voting, and President Trump is trying to cast doubt on the remaining postal votes.
