The three men found guilty of assaulting and abducting Kevin Lunney are to appeal their convictions.
In December, the Special Criminal Court jailed them for a combined 70 years for the attack on the QIH Director in September 2019.
It's understood that the man known as YZ, and 40 year old Alan O'Brien from East Wall in Dublin filed notices of appeal just days after being sentenced.

While 27 year old Darren Redmond from East Wall submitted appeal papers earlier this month.
It's not yet known what the grounds of the appeals will be.
