Major resurfacing works in Carrickmacross are continuing.
The County Council is resurfacing a number of streets in the town centre.
From Monday week (July 26th) works will move to O'Neill St and Castle St.

The Council has published a notice saying it intends to close the R179 road,
which includes those streets, from Monday to Thursday.
The road will be closed from 8am to 6pm daily and diversions will be in
place.
