A man has been remanded in custody following a drugs seizure in Cavan.
Last Tuesday, a man in his 40's was arrested in Arva.
He was interviewed in relation to the seizure of suspected drugs believed to be worth €25,000, €42,500 in cash and £8,000 sterling and a significant quantity of illegal cigarettes.

He was charged with drug related offences and appeared on Saturday morning at the Criminal Court in Dublin.
He has been remanded in custody and investigations are continuing
