A man's being treated in hospital following a serious fall in Monaghan yesterday.
A man in his late 70's, from the Killygoan area, was carrying out work while on a ladder when he fell onto concrete yesterday evening.
The incident happened at around 7 o'clock.

Emergency services responded and he was airlifted by the Coast Guard from the Monaghan Harps GAA pitch.
Local Gardaí and fire services provided assistance.
The man, who's well known in the area, was airlifted to hospital in Dublin, where it believed his injuries are serious.
