McVeigh family renew appeal for information after All Souls silent walk

Columba McVeigh was abducted and murdered in October 1975, with his remains believed to be buried somewhere in Bragan Bog in north Monaghan.

The family of Columba McVeigh have made a further appeal for information as part of the annual All Souls Day walk.

The silent walk at Stormont is attended by families of The Disappeared on November 2nd each year, with a wreath laid to remember those yet to be found.

Four white lilies on yesterday's wreath represent Joe Lynskey, Robert Nairac, Lisa Dorrian and Columba McVeigh.

Columba was abducted and murdered in October 1975, with his remains believed to be buried somewhere in Bragan Bog in north Monaghan.

Multiple searches by the Independent Commission for the Location of Victims' Remains have ended in failure.

Information can be passed to the ICLVR in confidence, and no criminal charges can be brought from what the Commission is told.
