Monaghan Civil Defence accommodates 40 Ukrainian refugees

The group of refugees arrived from Poland yesterday morning.

The Monaghan Civil Defence Service is currently accommodating 40 refugees from the war in Ukraine.

The group arrived yesterday morning via Poland and consists of a number of families with young children and elderly persons.

Monaghan County Council is co-ordinating with the IPAS in relation to the long-term accommodation needs of the group.
