Monaghan County Council says it's received no application for a mobile phone mast at Rossmore Park.
The topic was discussed at the recent Monaghan MD meeting after Councillors brought concerns from local residents and social media about such a development.
Fine Gael's David Maxwell said it was his understanding that Coillte was considering an application, with the council confirming that no consultations had taken place and no proposals were before the local authority.

Councillors raised concern about the potential development of a mast, whether it might facilitate 5G connections and the complaints it could generate.
