Monaghan Credit Union have been made aware of scam callers who are claiming to be calling from card security services. Fraudsters are claiming to be from the credit union or card security services and attempting to obtain personal information. These calls are understood to come from a private number.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Ann McKenna from Monaghan Credit Union says the security of customers is a "top priority" therefore she is asking people to stay vigilant and relay this waning to others to help keep our community safe. Ann reminded customers that Monaghan Credit Union will never ask for your full PIN, passwords or account details over the phone:
