This coming Sunday will see a Monaghan family battle it out in the first of two-quarter finals on the current series of RTE’s Ireland's Fittest Family.
Coach Anna Geary will have split loyalties, as she has two families in the quarter-finals - the McNally's from Co Monaghan and the Gallagher's from Co Donegal.
They’ll be facing Davy’s Nugent's from Louth and Donncha’s Cooney's from Cork. New coach Nina Carberry is resting in the paddock this week as she only has one family through to the quarter-finals.

But she’ll be chomping at the bit to be back next week. It's the first of two Fittest Family quarter finals in the Forest, and the four families and their coaches will be hoping to do enough to stay in the game.
