Monaghan Gardaí seize vehicle that had no tax for four years

Gardaí in Monaghan have seized a vehicle that displayed a tax disk that had expired in January of 2016.

Gardaí were on patrols throughout the town yesterday when they made the discovery.

The car was detained under Section 41 of the Road Traffic Act, after the vehicle was found to have no insurance or NCT, and tax which had expired at the beginning of 2016.
