Monaghan has the lowest Covid incidence rate in the country.
The Latest data for the two weeks leading up to Monday the 15th show that each Local electoral area in the county is below the national average.
The 14 day national incidence rate is 1,160.
Each LEA in Monaghan is currently recording rates lower than this and the lowest natiowide.
The Carrickmacross/Castleblayney MD has a rate of 1,017 this highest in the county.
In the Ballybay Clones LEA a rate of 736 has been recorded, with Monaghan accounting for the lowest in the region at just over 603.
Meanwhile in Cavan there is one area which has a rate exceeding the average.
The Bailieborough Cootehill electoral area currently has a rate of 1,282.
However the rest of the county is coming in below with the Cavan Belturbet MD sitting at 1144 and Ballyjamesduff at 1,034.
