Members of the Monaghan Lions Club are coming together this weekend to collect for their annual Christmas food hamper appeal.
The group will collect on Friday from 5pm to 9pm, Saturday from 11am to 7pm and on Sunday from 2pm to 6pm.
This year's collection points are, Fleming's Supervalu and Monaghan Shopping Centre and at Church Square.
The Monaghan Lions Club works in conjunction with the Teach na nDaoine Family Resource Centre on this campaign each year.
John Smith is the current Vice President and Secretary of the Monaghan Lions Club.
According to John, volunteers will deliver up to 285 hampers this year.
