A Co Monaghan man has slammed Eir's customer service team after he's been left without a landline for the past six weeks.

Ronnie Sloan, from Doohamlet, says his phone has been out of action since the telephone pole was damaged by a car around six weeks ago.

He runs Lakeland Nursey in Doohamlet and says many of his customers still rely on the landline.

Speaking on this morning's Joe Finnegan Show, Ronnie said he first made contact with Eir around a week after the incident, but was informed by a repair crew yesterday that it could be a further ten days before the problem is rectified:
