Monaghan Municipal District has proposed re-naming a local road in memory of the late Brendan Og O'Dufaigh.
The 19 year old Monaghan GAA star lost his life in a road traffic collision on the N2 in July of last year, while on his way home from a game.
Monaghan MD has proposed changing the name of the L14105, from Old Cross Square to The Monaghan Harps GAA grounds, to "Brendan Og O'Dufaigh Road".

The Council has invited submissions from members of the public in respect of the proposed change of name.
Submissions in writing can be forwarded to the Monaghan Municipal District, Council Offices, The Glen, Monaghan, or emailed to [email protected], by Friday 13th May 2022.
