Monaghan Harps road name change will ensure Brendan Og Ó Dufaigh is always remembered

Monaghan Harps Chairman, Jimmy Croarkin, says it will mean a lot to the family.

Re-naming the road leading to Monaghan Harps GAA after the late Brendan Og Ó Dufaigh will ensure his name and achievements are always remembered.

That's according to the chairman of Monaghan Harps GAA, Jimmy Croarkin, who says it's "absolutely brilliant news".

Monaghan MD today signed off on re-naming the L14105, from Old Cross Square to The Monaghan Harps GAA grounds, to "Slí Ógie Uí Dhufaigh", or "Ógie Ó Dufaigh Way".

Jimmy says it's a road Brendan would have travelled very often and told The Wider View that it will mean a lot to the family:
