A Monaghan student says he's "just drained" from his 280km round trip to college every day.
Jamie McMahon is a second year student at Maynooth University, and along
with his friend Matthew, were forced to drive from Clontibret because of a
lack of suitable accommodation.
He says any of the properties they viewed were either too expensive or too
far from campus to make it viable.

He told Shannonside Northern Sound that he hopes things will improve as
normality returns.
