A group of Monaghan students have designed bins to stop the continuation of mask littering in the county.

Five transition year students from Colaiste Oiriall in Monaghan Town want to reduce mask pollution and have come up with the product as part of their Young Social Innovators project.

The group created videos which will be rolled out online to raise awareness of the issue with mask pollution and they hope to make the top three of the YSI competition which is being announced at the start of May.
