Monaghan town bypass closed following road collision

Gardaí are currently at the scene of a single vehicle road traffic collision in Monaghan Town.

Gardaí say if you are travelling south from Monaghan please use the N12 Monaghan to Armagh Road turning right at Silverstream onto the R213 which redirects onto the N2 at A&M Commercials.

 If you are travelling to Monaghan please turn right on the N2 at A&M Commercials and follow the R213 either entering the town via the N12 or at Killyneill Cross onto the old Armagh Road.
