The defibrillator at the Motor Tax Office was unavailable for a time as a result of the vandalism.

A defibrillator which was out of use in Monaghan Town due to an act of vandalism "is now back in place and operational".

On Monday afternoon, Monaghan County Council said the defibrillator at the Motor Tax Office would be "unavailable until further notice" as a result of the vandalism.
