A Monaghan woman has been shortlisted for a prestigious visual arts award.
Lucy Peters is one of thirteen artists in the running for the 2022 RDS Visual Arts Award.
Her exhibit, 'Making it Laaaast' looks at the damage fast fashion does to the environment, from manufacturing to being thrown out.

Lucy is a graduate of the Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Dun Laoghaire, and her display is a series of soft sculptures made from fast fashion products.
The winners will be announced on October 20th, with the shortlisted works on display in the RDS from the 21st to 29th.
