Dancing with the stars sensation and social media influencer Kayleigh Trappe has spoken out about her love for the Irish language. As Seachtain na Gaelige continues, Kayleigh Trappe featured on RTE1's 'Upfront' with Katie Hannon last night. The Tik Tok star revealed that while she attended an English speaking primary school, it was her own decision to attend a Gaelscoil for her post-primary education and has "never looked back" since.
Speaking on RTE last night, Kayleigh said she has used her Irish in every aspect of her life, from her student days to working as a teacher and even now as a social media creator. As part of Seachtain na Gaelige, Kayleigh has encouraged locals to introduce cúpla focail into our everyday language, adding that we must preserve this language for all it's worth:
