A new dementia friendly ward and dementia memorial gardens at Monaghan Hospital has officially opened today.
Minister Carroll MacNeill met with staff members and local politicians at the local hospital earlier when marking the opening.
Local TD David Maxwell welcomed the investment and said that he will push for further services and investment at Monaghan hospital.
