Approval for new extension at St Clare's NS in Ballyjamesduff

St Clare’s National School in Ballyjamesduff has received approval from the Department of Education for an extension.

Minister Norma Foley made the announcement this morning.

The extension will include a new Home School Liaison/parents room and Special Education Teacher room.

Deputy Niamh Smyth said the announcement was an important one for the future of the school.

She paid tribute to the school’s principal, staff and board of management on their success.

Meanwhile, Deputy Brendan Smith said the school had worked hard to get the project delivered.
