New mural unveiled in Monaghan to celebrate biodiversity

The project will celebrate various aspects of local history, heritage, and culture.

Monaghan County Museum have partnered with Monaghan Tidy Towns to produce a mural to celebrate the biodiversity of Monaghan Town.

The new mural located at the Bus Eireann Station in Monaghan Town has been designed by artist Friz.

Monaghan Murals is a project devised by Creative Monaghan to develop a series of international standard large scale street murals throughout the towns of County Monaghan.

According to Monaghan County Museum the mural forms part of a wider strategy to support creativity in the community, promote pride of place and diversity of experience.

The project will celebrate various aspects of local history, heritage, and culture.
