The Nuremore Estate owned by the McGettigan's has opened on a phased basis.
The Carrickmacross venue will be fully operational from this Friday.
The McGettigan Group announced its acquisition of the beloved Monaghan landmark in recent months and have carried out extensive upgrades to the estate.
The wonderful redevelopment of the hotel and its grounds has created over 100 new jobs. The premises promises to make the seventy two bedroom hotel a cornerstone once again of the local community and a beacon for Irish tourism.
Its facilities also comprise a restaurant, bar and leisure centre as well as a large function and conference centre all sitting on 160 acres of lands.
Deputy Matt Carty who is a local to Carrickmacross says the closure of the hotel was a huge blow to the wider area but he says the future is bright for the Nuremore as it returns to its former glory.
