Overturned lorry cleared and Bailieborough to Shercock Road reopened

The road was closed from approx. 2.30pm today.

An overturned lorry has been cleared from the Bailieborough to Shercock Road.

The R178 was closed from about 2.30 this afternoon while emergency services dealt with the incident.

The area has now been cleared and motorists no longer need to divert via Kingscourt and Cootehill.
