The pandemic has shone a light on the need for appropriate accommodation for victims of domestic violence in the region.

Tearmann domestic violence services say that while the rent supplement was welcome, Covid 19 has highlighted the need for different responses and possibly changes to the services provided to victims.

Siobhan McKenna, the manager of the organisation for both Cavan and Monaghan says that she thinks a new model of care will emerge after the pandemic
