Planning permission has been granted for fifteen apartments and one commercial unit in Monaghan Town. The permission allows for change of use from a public house and nightclub to commercial and residential use to include eight 2 bedroom apartments, seven 1 bedroom apartments, and one commercial unit.
The building is located within an Architectural Conservation Area. The application also comprises of the alteration of the existing building including elevational changes, extension to the side together with all associated works. Planners granted the planning permission to Seamus McEnaney with 10 conditions attached.
