The company says they are aiming to 'future proof' the area.

Cignal Infrastructure is seeking permission to construct a 30-meter high telecommunications structure in Bailieborough, Co Cavan.

The proposed structure, at Gartnaneane, Bailieborough, would carry dishes and antennae and be enclosed within 2.4 metre high palisade fencing.

Associated site works would include a new access track.
