Planning application lodged for seven houses in Castleblayney

A planning application has been lodged that would see the construction of seven two-storey terrace style dwellings in Castleblayney.

The proposed development is on the Dublin Road in the town.

While the planning application notes that "there is limited open spaces on the site", it adds that the site is in close proximity to a number of recreational amenities, including Muckno Park and the Castleblayney Faughs GAA pitch.

A decision on the application is expected on the 29th of June.
