Rockcorry GAA have been given planning permission for a new community centre in recent days.
Monaghan County Council approved the application for the construction of a two-storey community building containing a main multi-purpose room, 2 meeting rooms, a social room and other ancillary spaces.
The new facility will be adjoined to the existing Rockcorry GAA dressing rooms with the provision of car parking including bus parking included in the planning approval.

The planning go-ahead also allows for the provision of landscaping together with all ancillary and associated site works.
The County Monaghan GAA club were given the greenlight with 10 conditions attached.
