Planning permission is being sought for an extension to Gaelscoil Bhreifne in Cavan Town.
The Cavan Irish school is seeking permission for a fully serviced two storey extension to the existing school.
If given the green light the extension will incorporate 4 classrooms and the relocation of the existing temporary classroom accommodation that's currently in place.

Plans for alterations to the site layout and all ancillary site works are also being sought on the application.
County planners will make their decision in May on the proposed plans.
