Planning sought for telecommunications mast in Cavan

Planning permission is being sought for a telecommunications mast near Shercock in Co Cavan.

The plans submitted to Cavan County Council earlier this week seek to install a 24m multi-user monopole type telecommunications support structure with headframe, carrying antenna and dishes. The proposed plans by On Tower Ireland Limited would also allow for an enclosure within a 2.4 metre high palisade fenced compound together with associated ground equipment cabinets and associated site works, including a new access track

County planners will decide on this application by the 19th of May.
