The public are invited to get involved in the Marble Arch Caves UNESCO Global Geopark consultation. Cavan County Council and Fermanagh and Omagh District Council

The public are invited to get involved in the Marble Arch Caves UNESCO Global Geopark consultation.

Cavan County Council and Fermanagh and Omagh District Council who are jointly responsible for overseeing the management of the cross-border park, are consulting on the boundary of the Geopark and on new branding.

They are particularly interested in hearing from local and regional businesses, the local education sector, tourism and conservation groups as the look to develop connections locally.

The aim is to create a destination of the wider area that has an aligned brand, and is joined up in its thinking and its approach.

The process is takin place virtually with Martina O'Neill the Acting Manager of the Geopark urging people to get involved and fill in an online survey by November 15th:
