A public meeting of the County Cavan Joint Policing Committee will be held
on Monday the 16th of January 2023 from 7pm to 9pm in Cavan Town Hall.
Members of the public are welcome to attend this meeting.
The Joint Policing Committee (JPC) consists of members of An Garda
Síochána, councillors, Oireachtas members representing County Cavan,
officials of Cavan County Council and community representatives.
The function of a JPC is to serve as a forum for consultations, discussions,
and recommendations on matters affecting the policing of the county.
The Joint Policing Committee welcomes the public's views on items for
discussion.
Members of the public have the right to make their views known and ask
question.
Senior members of An Garda Síochána will be present on the evening to answer
questions.
