Rent prices in Cavan are up almost 17 per cent on this time last year.
That's according to the latest report from Daft.ie.
There was a 13.8 per cent increase in Monaghan during the same period.

The average cost of renting is now €912 per month in Monaghan, and €899 in Cavan.
Renting in Cavan is up 5.1 per cent on the last quarter, and 90.6 per cent higher than its lowest ever point.
In Monaghan, prices are 76.6 per cent higher than their lowest, and 2.9 per cent higher than in June.
