A road in Co Cavan has reopened this evening following a hit and run incident.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a hit-and-run single-vehicle crash that occurred on L1513 Drumlark, Loreto Wood, in Cavan yesterday.
The crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian occurred shortly after 6.45pm.

The female pedestrian, aged in her 20s was injured and taken to hospital for treatment for non life-threatening injuries.
The male driver of the vehicle left the scene on foot.
The male passenger, aged in his 20s, was seriously injured.

He was removed from the scene to Cavan General Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
The road which was closed for a forensic examination to be carried out has now reopened.
