Gardaí in Cavan have urged road users to slow down, after five motorists were fined for speeding on the Crosskeys to Ballyjamesduff Road yesterday evening.
Cavan Roads Policing Unit detected the five motorists travelling in excess of the 80 kmph limit, with the slowest being 105 kmph.
Fixed Payment Notices were issues and points are to follow.

Cavan Gardaí have reminded motorists that speed is the primary cause of many road traffic collisions, which can result in serious injury or death.
