Safety concerns have been raised about overhanging trees and bushes on a number of roads in Cavan.
The issue was highlighted by Cllr Adrian Rogers at the most recent meeting of Bailioborough - Cootehill MD.
He highlighted concerns that motorists are being forced to cross the white line to avoid overhanging branches, particularly on the R165 at Drumbannon Bailieborough.
He noted there are a number of location where overgrown verges are restricting visibility for motorists driving or trying to merge onto roads.
Cllr Rogers called for trimming and maintenance at affected locations to improve visibility and road safety.
Speaking to Northern Sound he highlighted his concerns.
