Safety measures have been implemented to encourage people to engage in the current N2 consultation process.

While the first three weeks of the consultations took place remotely, there will now be meetings in person in both Monaghan Town and Carrickmacross over the next month.

Project liaison officer with Monaghan County Council Roisín Moore says they want people to give their feedback and they will attempt to facilitate everyone in whatever way suits them.

Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound Roisín said they have worked to make people feel comfortable when they attend either venue:
