The owner of the store described the shop as a treasure trove.

A Cavan charity shop has celebrated two years in business by opening a second store in the town.

Wild wardrobe was created by Caroline Van Den Berg and Joanna Birsanu as a Covid project and has only gone from strength to strength since its inception.

Starting out online and now having two stores in Cavan, the success of the stores is down to the local support in the area says one of the shops owners.

Not only does the charity shop offer fashionable and affordable clothing to local families, at a time when it is needed most, but all profit from the two stores goes towards the protection of native Irish wildlife across the region.

All proceeds of the stores go towards Kildare Wildlife Rescue, Wildlife Rehabilitation Ireland and Dooletter Wildlife Rescue, who take animals that come into the care of Johanna and Caroline.

Owner of Wild Wardrobe Caroline Van Den Berg says the local charity shops benefits the wildlife across the Shannonside Northern Sound region.
