Two cubes of sludge diesel waste were discovered in Carrickmacross in the early hours of this morning.
The sludge, which is the result of illegal diesel laundering, was dumped in the Donaghmoyne area of Carrickmacross.
The dumping occurred in the early hours of this morning and the waste was found “reasonably close to the border”.

Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity or vehicles in the area last night or in the early hours of this morning are asked to make contact with Carrickmacross or Castleblayney Garda Station.
