Many customers remain without power as a result of storms Isha and Jocelyn

The ESB have confirmed that as of this morning, approximately 3,000 customers remain without power across Cavan and Monaghan as a result of Storm Isha and Storm Jocelyn.

The main areas where customers remain without power include Ballyjamesduff, Cavan Town, Drumbear, Clones, Ballybay and other parts. In a statement the energy supplier said "All available ESB Networks resources are deployed across" both counties.

This includes crews and partner contractors who have travelled from less impacted areas of the country. ESB apologised for the disruption to family and commercial life this causes, and thank customers across both counties, especially those who were without power again overnight, for their patience.
