Tánaiste says employment in border region growing faster than rest of Ireland

The Tánaiste says employment in the border region has been growing faster than anywhere else in Ireland.

Leo Varadkar was speaking at the IBEC President's Dinner in the RDS last night.

He told attendees that job creation across the country has been strong, but in the past two years it grew by 29 per cent in Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo, Monaghan and Cavan.

The Fine Gael leader told business leaders that Ireland is benefitting from a 'massive brain gain' and a flow of skills and talents.
