Those injured have been released from St James' Hospital.

A teenage boy will be charged today in connection with an assault on three tourists in Dublin. The men aged in their 20's who were visiting Ireland from the UK, were attacked on Fownes Street Upper in Temple Bar at around 10 o'clock on Friday night.

All three were hospitalised after suffering injuries, however they've since been released from St James' Hospital. Gardai from Pearse Street station arrested the teenager in connection with the assault yesterday.

He's due before the Children's Court later this morning.
