Three Monaghan women to appear on Fair City tonight

Regular viewers of the hit TV show 'Fair City' may see some locals featuring in tonight's episode.

Three ladies from County Monaghan are to appear in tonight's episode of the popular RTE programme.

Angela Lavelle from Ballybay, Sharon Mc Cann and Michele Duffy both from Castleblayney will be spotted alongside cast members in Mc Coys bar.

All three ladies said it was a very special day to feature in the iconic programme that is fair city. When they had gone to visit the set they had no idea that they would be asked to partake in scenes of tonight's episode.

The ladies told the wider view earlier about their experience and how surprised they were to find out that there were going to be special extras on the programme.
