Three people have been taken to Cavan General Hospital following a road traffic collision.
In a statement issued to Northern Sound News, Gardaí attended a three-vehicle traffic collision that occurred at approximately 3:35pm yesterday afternoon.
The incident occurred in the Lisgrey area of Virginia, Co Cavan. According to Gardaí, three people were taken to Cavan General Hospital as a precaution.

The road has since re-opened to motorists.
