The latest figures recorded a decrease of 200 people living in emergency accommodation in December, to over 16 thousand 700 - which charities say is a seasonal drop over Christmas.

The government is again being urged to do more to combat the homelessness crisis.

The latest figures recorded a decrease of 200 people living in emergency accommodation in December, to over 16 thousand 700 - which charities say is a seasonal drop over Christmas.

It's an increase of more than 18 hundred people on December 2024.
